How to embed a widget
  1. Choose a widget type — single city clock, multi-city world clock, or meeting-overlap planner.
  2. Add your cities — one for a clock, two to six for the world clock or overlap view.
  3. Style it — auto/light/dark theme, transparent background, and (for single clocks) a size.
  4. Copy the snippet — the script version auto-resizes; the iframe version is fixed-size for locked-down editors.
  5. Paste into your site — WordPress Custom HTML block, Notion /embed, Webflow/Framer embed element, Ghost HTML card, or any raw HTML. It renders the live time immediately and updates every second.

Are the widgets free?
Yes — completely free, no signup. No ads inside the widget and no tracking beyond standard server logs. Each widget keeps a small "whattime.city" attribution link.
What is the meeting-overlap widget?
It shows a 24-hour UTC strip for every city you add, colour-coded by local working hours, and highlights the window where everyone is in business hours at once — an embeddable version of the whattime.city meeting planner.
Does it work on WordPress, Notion, Webflow, Ghost?
Yes. The script snippet works anywhere you can add a <script> tag (WordPress Custom HTML, Ghost, Webflow, Framer, plain HTML). Where scripts are blocked (some Notion/Squarespace contexts) use the iframe snippet instead.
Does it handle Daylight Saving Time?
Yes. All times use the IANA Time Zone Database, so DST transitions and half/quarter-hour offsets (India UTC+5:30, Nepal UTC+5:45) are automatic — no updates needed at clock-change dates.
Will it slow down my page?
The loader script is about 1 KB and loads async. The widget itself renders in an isolated iframe that does not block your page. Live data is computed in the browser — no external API calls.
Can I remove the attribution link?
The small "whattime.city" link is part of the free widget. For white-label embedding, get in touch via the contact page.
